St Basil student Elena Janis won a blue ribbon last Saturday for the Performing Arts Division at the Fair and will be performing the song “Popular” from the Broadway show “Wicked” this Saturday at 4pm on the Pavilion stage. If you’re at the Fair Saturday afternoon, don’t miss her performance!

At the Walla Walla County Fair, be sure to stop by the educational building to see science projects by students of St. Basil Academy.  Near the back wall you will see science posters created by the younger students and on a table in front of that are stand-up science fair displays by some of the older students.  The educational building is just past the rabbit and chicken barn as you enter the Fair off Orchard Street.

Ideally about 8 to 10 people can start at 12:00 noon and finish by 2:00 or 3:00.
